TITLE: Business Analyst Assistant (Part-Time)

DEPARTMENT: Strategy & Analytics

REPORTS TO: Manager, Market Intelligence

FLSA: Part‑Time Hourly;
Non‑Exempt

WHAT SETS YOU APART

The Business Analyst is responsible for contributing to the management of the ticketing and sponsorship CRM system, extracting data from various vendors/systems, conducting fan/market research and generating insightful reports to support decision‑making processes within the organization. They will work hand‑in‑hand with the Marketing, Sponsorship, Ticket Sales and Member Experience teams to alleviate day‑to‑day or recurring tasks. The ideal candidate should have a strong background or interest in business intelligence, data analysis and CRM systems, along with the ability to extract ticketing/customer data into meaningful reports/campaigns.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in the tactical administration of the CRM system including reporting/dashboards, user management, data hygiene and data manipulation.
  • Extract and query data from multiple sources to enable execution of marketing/sales/service campaigns, email distributions, etc.
  • Utilize various sources to gather relevant data and information on industry trends and market dynamics and execute post‑match and Season Ticket Member surveys.
  • Update recurring reports across the business landscape, as well as analyze data, summarize findings and share actionable recommendations to key stakeholders.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can inform strategic decision‑making.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Marketing, Sponsorship Ticket Sales and Member Experience to understand data needs and requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Pursuing or graduated with bachelor’s/master’s degree in business, mathematics or sciences.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM, SQL, Excel, Tableau and project management (preferred).
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to attain and maintain Safe Sport certification.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent planning/communication/organization skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced changing environment and as part of a team, taking on tasks at all levels.
About Orlando City SC & Orlando Pride

In November 2013, Orlando City Soccer Club was awarded a Major League Soccer (MLS) franchise, becoming the league’s 21st franchise. The team began play in March 2015, with 62,510 fans packing the then‑Orlando Citrus Bowl for the Club’s MLS debut.

The Lions have reached the postseason in five‑consecutive seasons (2020‑24), qualified for the Concacaf Champions Cup (formerly Concacaf Champions League) in both 2023 and 2024, and reached their first final in 2020 during the MLS is Back Tournament. In 2022, Orlando City won its first championship of its MLS era, lifting the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup trophy, which also marked the first championship by any professional team in the City Beautiful.

In October 2015, the Orlando Pride was announced as the 10th team in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL), bringing professional women’s soccer to the state of Florida for the first time.
