An enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Recreation Manager to help lead, train, and develop the recreation team. In this role, you'"ll drive a culture of service excellence and guest safety while supporting a wide array of engaging recreational experience.
What You Will Do- Assist in overseeing daily operations for Recreation, Fitness Center, and Safety Programs—ensuring alignment with brand standards and guest expectations.
- Serve as the acting Recreation Manager in their absence.
- Manage and monitor all pool and recreation activities, including guest programs, and towel service
- Lead training of all recreation team members.
- Foster internal awareness and promotion of recreation offerings to maximize guest engagement and revenue opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and functionality across all recreational areas
- Lead monthly staff meetings and training sessions to reinforce safety protocols and service standards.
- Analyze trends and guest feedback to evolve our recreational offerings and enhance satisfaction.
- Notifies appropriate individual promptly and fully of problems and/or unusual matters
- Minimum one year of recreation/aquatics supervisory experience
- Must be able to swim and be comfortable in and around water for an entire shift
- Must be able to complete and maintain current Lifeguard certification to include written and practical exams
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Must complete monthly in-service training requirements
- Must hold clean motor vehicle driving record upon request
- High School Diploma or Equivalent;
Associate degree in a related field is preferred - Licensed Lifeguard Instructor certification preferred
