You will be the Software Engineer Sr Stf - Level 5 for the team which is responsible for delivering high-impact software solutions that enable mission success. What You Will Be Doing As the Software Engineer Sr Stf - Level 5 you will be responsible for shaping, building, and maintaining sophisticated software that solves complex business and mission challenges. Your responsibilities will include:
* Design, develop, test, and debug code that implements logical and mathematical solutions to mission-critical problems.
* Apply and enforce software development standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the lifecycle.
* Analyze system requirements, translate user needs into technical specifications, and produce clear documentation.
* Identify and correct program errors, create operating instructions, and ensure robust, maintainable code.
* Collaborate with hardware specialists and end-users to validate software performance and resolve technical issues. Further Information About This Opportunity MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Strong software design, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with full software life cycle development including SW and hardware design
• Infrastructure as Code such as Ansible or other like tools
• Masters degree in Software/Computer Engineering
Desired
Skills:
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team oriented, rapidly changing environment.
• Demonstrated experience using the Agile methodology in the development, integration and test of complex software systems and environments.
• Strong experience with Networking hardware and software, Linux/Windows
• Security+ Certification
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
