We are seeking Full-Time Special Effects Artist and Animator, Journeyperson to support training systems design and development at NAWCTSD, Orlando FL. Naval Air Warfare Center Training and Systems Division (NAWCTSD) is the Navy's principal center for modeling, simulation and training systems technologies.

• The team is heavily focused on virtual environment development using game engines (Unity), virtual reality, and augmented reality.
• Responsible for building applications for networking, databases, and game engine plug-ins.
• Create special effects or animations using film, video, computers, or other electronic tools and media for use in products, such as training systems, computer games, movies, music videos, and commercials.

Assist with training system development and research tasks.

• Required - One (1) year practical experience with an AA/AS/Certificate/degree in Graphic Design, Computer Graphics, or related area.
• Experience with game engines and virtual environments, C#, networking experience (TCP, UDP), SQL, Visual Studio, and client/server applications.
• Experience with distributed systems architecture and real-time performance/optimization.
• Preferred Experience:
  
  Experience with C++, XAML, and speech recognition.

• AA/AS/Certificate/degree in Graphic Design, Computer Graphics, or related areas.
• OR Three (3) year practical experience with No degree.

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
