Job DescriptionLockheed Martin Rotary and Missing Systems has an opportunity in Orlando for a mid‑career Software Engineer supporting the Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) programs. An ATE Software Engineer is responsible for developing, updating, and integrating software applications on ATE hardware. ATE Software Engineers also support test program development and integration.
Responsibilities- Contribute to the creation of design solutions for complex engineering problems in the software cycle.
- Utilize Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) to develop functional, architectural, and detailed designs.
- Enhance product design to provide added or updated functionality based on operational scenarios and customer requirements.

This position requires a candidate who is a U.S. Citizen and the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

BasicQualifications
- Bachelors of Science in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Engineer field
- 3 or more years of experience using C, C++, C# or similar programming languages
- Software design and testing experience in a professional environment
- Experience utilizing Agile software development methodologies
- Experience with Automatic Test Equipment software development
- NET Core development or equivalent experience in other languages
- OpenLDAP experience
- gRPC experience
- WebAPI development
- Database experience (Postgre
SQL) - Experience working in an integrated cross‑functional team setting (Systems, Hardware, Integration and Test Engineers)
