Industrial Electrician

Overview

They are assigned to one facility or rotated to other facilities. They are working on all electrical needs. Pumps, blowers, mechanical equipment that needs electricity. They will be troubleshooting the electricity problems for those. As they get more experience the will be working with switch gears and motor controls centers and more complex.

• Work on all electrical needs for assigned facility or during rotations, including pumps, blowers, and other mechanical equipment that requires electricity.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and perform electrical maintenance as needed.
• As experience grows, work with switch gear, motor control centers, and more complex electrical systems.

• State certified or State registered with Orange County as a Master Electrician
• Or six years of training and graduation from a vocational school or program and 2 years of technical electrical work experience in a commercial or industrial environment
• Or eight years of technical electrical work experience in a commercial or industrial environment
• Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License by date of hire or promotion.
• Based on area of assignment, must have the ability to perform in confined spaces and use safety equipment including respirator equipment per Orange County requirements.
