Home Inspector Trainee – Four Corners Home Inspections (Clermont / Lake County area)

• Assist with residential inspections, documenting conditions with photos and notes.
• Climb ladders, access attics and crawl spaces, and inspect exteriors, roofs, interiors, and mechanical systems.
• Follow established checklists and procedures for each inspection.
• Learn to use inspection software, meters, and other tools.
• Interact respectfully and professionally with homeowners, buyers, and real estate agents.

• Honest, dependable person with a strong work ethic and desire to learn a trade.
• Able to follow directions, work from checklists, and repeat processes accurately.
• Comfortable working independently in the field after training.
• Strong attention to detail and good common‑sense problem solving.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass a background check.
• Willing to submit to a background check and random drug screening in accordance with company policy.
• Ability to climb and work on ladders.
• Ability to enter and move through attics and crawlspaces.
• Ability to kneel, bend, and work in confined spaces and Florida heat.

• No home inspection license required to start.

  NACHI membership and Florida home inspector pre‑licensing coursework are required; the company offers tuition reimbursement for approved courses upon successful completion.
• Paid on‑the‑job training with an experienced inspector.
• This role includes a structured training period with clear milestones and regular feedback so you always know how you’re progressing in the job.

• Required attendance at approved third‑party training for Florida insurance inspections (4‑Point and Wind Mitigation) and successful completion of the related certification, which may also be eligible for tuition reimbursement under company policy.
