Electrical Site Supervisor

MCS is hiring for an Electrical Site Supervisor in Tampa, Fl. This is a full‑time, permanent position with benefits.

The Electrical Site Supervisor must demonstrate strong leadership skills and have sound knowledge of industrial and commercial electrical systems. The Electrical Site Supervisor will require good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team setting. It is important that candidates keep abreast of industry trends and developments, as well as applicable Government regulations.

• Designing and implementing work schedules for the electrical staff.
• Providing motivation and assistance when necessary.
• Inspecting and assessing the work done by the electrical staff.
• Reading and interpreting design schematics to ensure the proper installation of electrical systems.
• Troubleshooting major system failures and equipment malfunctions.
• Repairing and maintaining electrical equipment.
• Overseeing the purchasing and maintenance of the electrical equipment on‑site.
• Ensuring the work is completed on schedule and to code.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work area.
• Consulting with builders, architects, and other workers on‑site.
• Works well in Excel, Microsoft Projects, Bluebeam, Procore, and Outlook email.
• This position may require a shift schedule including 2nd shift.
• Other duties as assigned.

Educational Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent

Certification Requirements: Ability to obtain a Florida State JLA (Jessica Lunsford Act) Badge.

• Journeyman's license preferred
• OSHA 10 required. OSHA 30 preferred

Experience Requirements:

• 7+ years of commercial electrical experience.
• 2+ years of commercial site Supervisor experience with projects $500,000+.
• Previous leadership experience with crew sizes of 6 or more.
• Able to work overtime, nights, weekends, and travel.
