Here’s how a(n) Foreman for our Nassal office contributes to our team:

  • Staffmanagement for Carpentry department(ensureproperstaffingforprojectcompletion,training,conductannualreviews,etc.).
  • Maintainabalancedcrewinaccordancewiththeblendedcrewrateforyourdepartment.
  • Participateinshopdrawingreviewstoensureeffectivemeansofproducingworkandverifyingconstructibilityofdesigns.
  • As requested,effectivelyreviewnewscopesofworktoadviseeffectivemeansofproducingandprovideinputonanticipatedlaborrequirementsforworkcompletion.
  • Presentapprovaldocumentsforprojectcompletion.
  • Maintainefficientandcost-effective approaches.
  • Provideestimatesforanticipatedlevelofeffortrequiredtocompletework.
  • Completematerialtakeoffsandmaterialrequisitionsfornewworkorders.
  • Completepayrollonaweeklybasisfordepartmentstaff.
  • Overseeproductionofactiveworkordersandensureproperprogressiontomeetscheduleddeadlines.
  • Communicateandworkeffectivelywithotherforemen.
  • Maintainthefacilityandequipmentconditions.
  • Overseebulkmaterialinventory.
  • Communicateideasforimprovementsand/oralternativesforprocesses.
  • Otherdutiesareassigned.
Qualifications
  • Minimum
    10yearsofcarpentryexperience.
  • Minimum3yearsofexperienceinaleadershiprole.
  • OSHA
    10or30

    Hour(Preferredbutnotrequired).
  • Knowledgeofconstructionspecifications,methods,and procedures(e.g.,self-perform work,subcontracted workscopes,temporary work,equipment).
  • Experience utilizing

    CADand/orPDFEditors.
  • Demonstratedabilitytoperformallresponsibilitiesofskilledon-sitecrewsbeingled.
  • Strong problem-solvinganddecision-making skills.
  • Basicknowledgeofproductivityrates.
  • Effectiveverbalandwrittencommunicationwithsupervisorsandsubcontractors,and reports.
  • Basicknowledgeofmaterial,labor,andequipmenttakeoffs.
  • Demonstratedabilitytoworkinafast-paced environment.
  • Abilitytosafelyoperatecompany-ownedvehicleson-siteandonroadways.
  • Demonstratedcriticalthinkingskillsandabilitytoeffectivelyplan,lead,anddirectcrews.
  • Abilitytolift
    35lbs.
  • Abletocompleteoccasionalfieldworkasrequired.
