THE WORK

  • We are seeking a dedicated Systems Installation and Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves a range of tasks related to the installation, setup, and maintenance of complex systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical systems, with hands‑on experience in installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. Able to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Unloading & Inventory:
    Unload trucks, inventory equipment, and stage items for installation.
  • Equipment Installation:
    Position and install UPS units, PDU units, and other critical infrastructure.
  • Cabling & Connections:
    Route and connect server room cables, blue power cables, and install circuit breakers. Perform rack connections and disk deployments as specified (e.g., 5A1, 2A3, 3A1, etc.).
  • Mechanical & Electrical Work:
    Install and maintain mechanical systems such as air conditioning ductwork, highbay ducting, and GPS antennas. Handle electrical tasks including UPS power‑up, circuit breaker installation, and electrical lockout/tagout.
  • System Configuration:
    Complete system integrations including IOS desk configurations, EPO systems, and power verification. Install and configure network components and perform system checks.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    Mark equipment positions on the floor, complete debriefing tasks, and provide detailed reports on installation progress and issues.
