What You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair our customers’ Commercial Tractors and Trailers.
• Write detailed work orders while working Mobile Road Calls and/or In Yard.
• Provide quality customer service.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair semitruck and trailer bodies, systems, and components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on fleet semi trucks and trailers.
• Maintain hubs and axles and adjust or replace them when required.
• Inspect, service, and replace tractor and trailer parts, including tires.
• Check and repair the brake, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Test all systems and equipment for performance issues.
• Ensure that trailers meet the U.S. Department of Transportation road safety requirements.
• Compile inspection reports, document repairs, and report findings to management.
• Respond as soon as possible to client queries.

What You’ll Need to Have

• 5+ years of verified experience in Commercial Tractor and Trailer repair.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift 100+ pounds.
• Basic computer skills to submit repairs for billing.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions to complete daily tasks.
• Basic reading and writing skills to complete customer repair orders.

What Will Help You Stand Out

• Experience with welding; certification is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school degree is a plus.
• Class A CDL.
• Your own tools.
