- Diagnose and repair commercial kitchen equipment efficiently and accurately.
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
- Install new kitchen equipment following manufacturer specifications.
- Provide exceptional customer service during onsite visits.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Demonstrate solid trade skills and safe troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of equipment/systems.
- Collaborate with other trades when additional expertise is required.
- Provide clear, professional communication with clients regarding HVAC issues, services, repairs, and recommendations.
- Proactively recommend repairs or replacements to reduce emergency repairs and business disruptions.
- Document all details needed for quoting and completing the work in one visit.
- Enter all required information into the system accurately and in real time for thorough service reports.
- Drive safely, following applicable laws and company best practices, and ensure defensive driving.
- Keep company vehicles, tools, equipment, and inventory organized and in good condition; keep van stocked with appropriate inventory.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
- 3‑5 years of field technician experience in commercial kitchen equipment repair and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Extensive travel required.
