• Diagnose and repair commercial kitchen equipment efficiently and accurately.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
• Install new kitchen equipment following manufacturer specifications.
• Provide exceptional customer service during onsite visits.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Demonstrate solid trade skills and safe troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of equipment/systems.
• Collaborate with other trades when additional expertise is required.
• Provide clear, professional communication with clients regarding HVAC issues, services, repairs, and recommendations.
• Proactively recommend repairs or replacements to reduce emergency repairs and business disruptions.
• Document all details needed for quoting and completing the work in one visit.
• Enter all required information into the system accurately and in real time for thorough service reports.
• Drive safely, following applicable laws and company best practices, and ensure defensive driving.
• Keep company vehicles, tools, equipment, and inventory organized and in good condition; keep van stocked with appropriate inventory.

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
• 3‑5 years of field technician experience in commercial kitchen equipment repair and maintenance.
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Extensive travel required.
