Tech III, Restaurant Equipment

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for performing preventative maintenance of commercial, non-commercial restaurant, laundry, and refrigeration-related equipment. Includes removal or installation of new equipment, cleaning duties, and routine preventative maintenance of equipment.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment such as ovens, steamers, shake & ice cream machines, coolers, and freezers.
• Maintain commercial appliance units including washers, dryers, chargrills, fryers, and flat tops.
• Service self-contained, air- and water-cooled refrigeration units, including condenser and evaporator cleaning of ice machines.
• Complete all assigned documentation and labor reports.
• Assist and support Equipment Technicians on service calls.
• Perform light replacement of parts such as hoses, regulators, pilot assemblies, restraints, and belts.
• Follow environmental, health, and safety policies and participate actively in related activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical school training preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• At least 1 year of experience in HVAC, refrigeration, commercial kitchen equipment, automotive maintenance, or a similar technical service environment.
• Equivalent education and experience considered.

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

• Valid Florida Driver's License required.
• Universal refrigerant certification preferred.

This role involves cleaning and preventive maintenance of equipment, supporting repairs, and installing restaurant equipment. Compensation is competitive.
