Salary Range: $25-$35 per hour (dependent on location, experience, and territory)
Note:
This position is temporarily remote; in-office work will be required in the future.
- Provide technical expertise, training, and support for existing and prospective clients.
- Visit clients per schedule; diagnose, repair, and replace commercial aquatic equipment.
- Test water chemistry, adjust controllers and programming, and clean and maintain chemical feed equipment.
- Perform pump room inspections and submit work orders for issues found in pump rooms and/or equipment.
- Onsite visits to new and existing clients on a regular basis.
- Train clients and channel partners on chemical feed systems and VivoPoint software.
- Provide technical support, repair, and installation of VivoPoint chemical feed systems (controllers, modems, feed devices, tubing, injectors, etc.).
- Provide technical support and perform installations, repairs, and maintenance on pumps, filters, heaters, etc., as needed.
- Perform warranty repair and required maintenance of VivoPoint chemical feed systems.
- Provide regular chemical water tests and recommendations to clients.
- Document job sites, projects, and work completions with photos as requested.
- Provide material and labor cost estimates for repairs and installations as requested.
- Record service visit information in VivoPoint (readings, service orders, equipment profiles) and in Net Suite with detailed notes.
- Communicate visits, repairs, and follow-up information to supervisors promptly.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times; communicate needs for specialty tools, PPE, training, or support to managers immediately.
- Maintain inventory of parts and equipment in possession as requested.
- Coordinate with managers and billing regarding job completions and parts used in a timely manner.
- Gather parts and equipment from supply houses and other locations as needed.
- Attend meetings, trainings, and company gatherings as needed.
- Additional duties may be assigned based on client and company needs.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills; professional appearance and attitude.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and sense of responsibility.
- Proficient with MS Office, GSuite, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of commercial water chemistry and balancing water chemistry.
- Knowledge of various manufacturers’ circulation and filtration systems and chemical automation/feeds.
- Understanding of swimming pool regulations and codes.
- Ability to travel off-island and overnight when needed; ability to work nights and weekends as required.
- Experience with electrical and plumbing systems and use of power tools.
- Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 75 lbs.
- 2+ years in the aquatics industry; 2+ years in technical work with commercial aquatics (water chemistry, electrical, plumbing); 2+ years installing, repairing, maintaining commercial circulation/filtration systems and chemical automation/feeds.
- Currently or previously hold a CPO license preferred.
- Valid driver's license for at least the last 2 years; must be over 21.
- Effective English communication; bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
- Successful completion of a thorough background check, including DMV records.
