Job Summary
Electrician I: $20.29-$25.86
Electrician II: $21.75-$27.73
Performs responsible journey level electrical work involving the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, machinery, power appliances, fixtures, or other electrical components. Work is performed under the supervision of a technical supervisor and is subject to review while in progress and upon completion for compliance with acceptable electrical standards.
Minimum QualificationsElectrician I: High School Diploma/G.E.D. and two (2) years electrical experience required; or an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience. Some positions may require a valid Florida Driver's License prior to employment.
Electrician II: High School Diploma/G.E.D. and four (4) years electrical experience required; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Must possess an Orange County Journeyman Electrician Competency card or equivalent. Some positions may require a valid Florida Driver's License prior to employment.

If this posting indicates a degree is required, the following experience will apply in lieu of any degree:
- Two (2) years of direct experience for an associate degree;
- Four (4) years of direct experience for a bachelor's degree;
- Six (6) years of direct experience for a master's degree; or
- Nine (9) years of direct experience for a doctoral degree.
