Responsible for attraction recovery, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of basic animation/special effects and mechanical systems.

• Respond to and assist in recovery and repair of attractions and show effects.
• Troubleshoot failed components using basic test equipment, schematics, leak detection tools, and other resources.
• Perform basic preventative and predictive maintenance as per OEM and UO Engineering specifications, including changing parts, calibrating, cleaning, and lubricating equipment.
• Complete inspections, document discrepancies, and create work orders; notify management when necessary.
• Perform basic repairs to ensure safety, reliability, and show quality.
• Implement simple modifications following UO Engineering or OEM guidelines.
• Document troubleshooting and repairs, report labor in Maximo.
• Complete PQS qualification and train new technicians.
• Follow Environmental, Health & Safety policies and participate actively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Inspection, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repair of animation/special effects and mechanical systems across the facility.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical school preferred.

3-5 years in troubleshooting and repair of electrical/PLC controls, electro-mechanical devices, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment, preferably in water parks, theme parks, or similar industries.

Valid Florida Driver’s License required.

• Training provided for operation of controlled descent devices and high reaches over 85ft.
