East Coast Contract Industries provides Adult Day Training facility for individuals with developmental disabilities throughout Florida. Our programs offers valuable interactive and educational classes that teach participants how to manage a wide range of everyday tasks. Staff work with participants to convey, how to manage money, cook meals, perform household cleaning, use a computer, follow sound health and safety procedures, learn social skills, and participate in art and music expression.

The purpose of this position is to perform routine maintenance and repair of the facility and equipment to include but not limited to plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, and painting. Follow maintenance schedule/instructions as outlined. Report equipment malfunctions or breakdowns as soon as possible. Perform preventative maintenance to include air conditioning, lighting fixtures, electrical appliances, vehicles and mechanical systems. Ensure physical environment is maintained for cleanliness and safety.

Conduct daily floor care; sweeping, wet mopping, waxing, buffing and shampooing carpets as scheduled. Perform on-call duties as required.

Must be 21 years old or older. One (1) year of maintenance and general repair experience is required. Hold a valid Florida driver’s license and capable of operating facility vehicle and maintaining a safe driving record.

High School Diploma/GED preferred.

$21.00 Hourly
