Night Shift Fleet Automotive Technician
Transdev in Orlando, FL. is seeking an experienced A-Level Fleet Automotive Mechanic for night shift hours (11:00 PM to 7:30 AM). This role requires diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining automotive engines across a variety of vehicles and equipment, ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity of assets.

• Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and determine necessary repairs on engines.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate repairs.
• Complete preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
• Lead diagnostic tests to identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategies for engines.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on engines, including overhauls and rebuilding components to required specifications.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, assisting them in developing their skills and knowledge.

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mechanic.
• CDL Driver's License required.
• ASE certifications required; ASE certification program provided.
• Mechanic’s Tool Set.
• Subject to a DOT physical exam and DOT drug testing. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 prohibits the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions; 100% of the job is performed outside. Work alone and in remote locations.
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces.
• Push and pull objects; lift up to 50 lbs; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to access equipment stored at ground level.
• Withstand exposure to heavy traffic areas and to dust, vehicle fumes, and noise.

• Vacation: minimum of two weeks.
• Sick days: 5 days.
• Holidays: 12 days (8 standard and 4 floating).
