• Irrigation Technician reports to Grounds Superintendent.

Reports to: Grounds Superintendent

• Install new irrigation systems based on project specifications.
• Regularly inspect and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper functioning.
• Diagnose and repair system malfunctions, including leaks, broken lines, and damaged components.
• Demonstrated experience in irrigation system installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Knowledge of various irrigation components, including pipes, valves, pumps, and controllers.
• Familiarity with different types of irrigation systems, such as drip, sprinkler, and soaker hose systems.
• Ability to read and interpret irrigation plans.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of water conservation practices and regulations.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License.
• Extensive knowledge in irrigation maintenance, repairs, and installation.
• Three years’ work experience in landscaping and grounds operation.
• Experience and knowledge of installing and maintaining PVC and HDPE irrigation systems.

• Long periods of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling and repetitive motions.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to navigate through rough and uneven terrain.
• Must be able to work in hot and muggy conditions on a continual basis.
• Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions.
• Must be physically able to do assigned work as outlined above.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
