Overview
EAM‑Mosca Corp., a leader in end‑of‑line automated packaging machinery, seeks a Field Service Technician for the Orlando, FL region.
Responsibilities- Install, commission, and maintain EAM equipment to ensure reliability and high customer satisfaction.
- Perform preventative, predictive, and emergency repairs on all EAM equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems using systematic thinking, test equipment, and hand tools.
- Work closely with Mosca Engineering to provide the highest level of customer service.
- Generate service reports that explain the work performed, parts used, and any follow‑up needed.
- Communicate daily with area service managers and develop schedules and itineraries that meet customer needs.
- Work with a sense of urgency while remaining calm under pressure.
- Advanced understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, bearing, lever, channel, pulley, cam, and camshaft systems.
- Basic experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, and B&R PLC control systems.
- Electromechanical experience with conveyance systems, sensor understanding, and electric motor interaction.
- Proficient with a multimeter, point‑to‑point, electrical schematic reading, and tracing.
- Proficient with calipers and micrometers.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently on a regular basis.
- Clear and professional communication in both written and verbal media, including web‑based service reporting, video conferencing, and face‑to‑face interactions.
- Extensive travel within the U.S. Monday thru Friday (80%).
- In‑house training and continuous on‑the‑job field training with senior field staff.
- Company car, corporate expense account/credit card, company laptop, and cell phone.
- All required personal safety equipment, company logoed clothing, supporting parts inventory, and company‑supplied tools.
- Minimum 3 years of field or plant equipment maintenance experience.
- Spanish preferred.
- Corrugated industry experience a plus.
- Mechanical understanding of strapping machines;
Mosca preferred. - High school diploma.
- A valid driver's license.
- Solid mechanical/electrical background.
- PLC experience preferred.
- Associate's degree a plus.
