Technical Services – Ride and Show Opportunities (Mechanic and Industrial Electronics/Electrical)
New Pay Rates Starting at $28.50/hr
Industrial Electrical/Electronics Technician (Ride & Robotics)Seeking qualified technicians responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of animation, special effects, and ride/show control and electrical systems. Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment.
- Performs daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual and annual inspections and preventative maintenance on Ride and Show control systems, including testing, verification, and/or calibration of applicable control systems.
- Identifies system deficiencies and recommends immediate and long-term corrective action to reduce maintenance costs and downtime of ride vehicles.
- Reads and interprets electrical and mechanical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
- Maintains PLC controllers and/or variable speed motors.
- Troubleshoots electrical control systems, understands sensor technology, and operates testing equipment up to 480 V.
- Participates in Environmental, Health & Safety activities following UO policy and procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Seeking qualified technicians responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of animation, special effects, and ride/show mechanical systems.
- Maintains both preventive and corrective Ride and Show mechanical systems.
- Participates in testing, verification, and/or calibration of applicable mechanical systems.
- Responds to downtime and quality repair issues related to ride and show elements.
- Performs assembly and disassembly for annual inspections and verifies quality control/NDT requirements.
- Logs completion of inspections, corrective action, and repairs made, including parts used.
- Participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience in a commercial/construction/industrial setting is required.
Certifications, Licenses, RegistrationsValid Florida Driver’s License.
Additional Information- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift and move between 20 and 50 pounds.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
