FDOT Certified Electrician Transportation Systems

Overview

FDOT Certified Electrician for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) at Conti LLC. This role involves installation and maintenance of ITS power components, interpretation of electrical diagrams, and on-site problem solving.

• Proficient in the installation of ITS power components: enclosed transformers, service disconnects, circuit breakers, load centers, panel boards, meter sockets.
• Proficient in the installation of electrical raceways: LTFMC, GRC, EMT, PVC.
• Able to review, understand and follow basic electrical diagrams.
• Able to perform basic troubleshooting of wiring and hardware components.
• Able to diagnose common electrical problems such as failed fuses, overloaded circuits, poor connections, faulty wiring and incorrect hardware installation.
• Able to perform cable locating and component inventory.
• Willing to work in the elements year round.
• Company sponsored CDL and other benefits may be available.
