Security Clearance Specialist What You Will Be Doing

• Review Personnel Security Clearance Questionnaires and associated documentation for submission to the Government
• Initiate new and periodic investigation requests
• Process eligibility changes, escalate aging tickets and requests, mail security documents, and electronic fingerprint processing.

Basic

Qualifications

• Intermediate level of proficiency with data entry skills
• Ability to perform proficiently in multiple systems simultaneously maintaining accuracy
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and competing priorities
• Effective Communications skills (verbal and written)
• Must have an Interim Secret security clearance prior to start and the ability to maintain a Secret security clearance
• High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized training in specific aspects of job functions and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks and 3 Years of experience.

Desired Skills

• NBIS experience
• DISS experience
• SIMS experience
• Remedy experience
• Minimum of 1-year customer service experience preferred.
• Active security clearance
• Bachelor's Degree

Ability to Work Remotely

Part-time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
