As a Security Guard - Flex Telecom Patrols in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. This Flex Part‑Time Security Officer role allows you to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to deter incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication.

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business interior and perimeter, to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security‑related risks, or incidents to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities.
• Assist visitors and employees by providing directions, answering questions, and addressing security‑related concerns in a courteous manner.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to maintain a visible presence and help deter potential disruptions in the tech, media, or telecom environment.
• Follow all site‑specific procedures and protocols as outlined by Allied Universal and the client location.

• At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
