The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for representing TRUMPF to customers and managing Tru Mark laser marking equipment sales in the Southeast United States. The role involves generating leads, sales of Tru Mark OEM lasers and systems, prospecting, customer qualification, and supporting sales goals. The position requires meeting sales targets, planning, direct selling, and networking with sales reps and distributors. Preferably located within east Texas / East Dallas area.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Represent TRUMPF Laser Division to customers in the Southeast US (Florida, Texas, Georgia, Louisiana, and surrounding states), managing customer care before and after sales.
- Achieve sales and revenue targets as outlined in the relevant documents.
- Sell TRUMPF Tru Mark products, services, and software.
- Develop strategic customer partnerships and coordinate with manufacturers’ representatives and distributors.
- Support customers with technical inquiries alongside TRUMPF Sales Project Management and Laser Applications teams.
- Initiate new applications at target accounts and maintain activity levels, including customer visits and lead follow-up, accurately recorded in CRM systems.
- Develop and implement action plans aligned with country strategy.
- Collaborate with external partners and participate in marketing activities and conferences.
- Maintain regular reports on calls, projects, visits, and order status with sales management.
- Use TRUMPF sales systems such as C4C and E2Q consistently and responsibly.
- Identify and qualify potential new customers and companies for TRUMPF lasers and systems.
- Maintain market information relevant to the territory.
- Perform additional duties as required by management and adhere to company guidelines.
Travel
- Willingness to travel up to 80%, including occasional overnight stays.
Education & Experience
- Experience in selling technology-driven capital equipment; understanding of laser marking products is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, with established connections in target industries.
- Technical knowledge of laser technology and systems, with an associate’s degree required and a bachelor’s or higher in a technical field preferred, or equivalent training and experience.
Compensation:
Base salary of $60,000–$80,000, plus commissions and bonuses. One-year guarantee. Total compensation will depend on experience.
