Sales Representative ; Entry Level - Scales & BioMed Equipment - Florida

We are recruiting for an Entry-level Outside Sales Representative. This position is based in Central Florida, with the service vehicles based just south of downtown Orlando.

This is an entry-level position, so prior experience in scale, Bio Med, or Technical industrial roles is required; however, expertise will be helpful. We are also flexible to full-time, part-time, or Contract arrangements for the right candidate.

The primary responsibility will be to travel to our customers' various locations within a 100-mile radius of Orlando tosell services and new equipment to the customer. At Peninsula, we believe in fostering a connection with our customers to solve their problems, not just make a sale.

This position may also require some light service or calibration-based tasks if needed. There is a significant upside to grow with Peninsula and our associated companies into a sales, service, or office manager role.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL GETTING STARTED

• A clean driving record (you will be required to consent to an MVD check).
• Prompt, professional, and detailed follow-up on all customer engagements
• The ability to travel freely between Monday and Friday
• Willingness to contact new potential customers by phone, email, or in-person visits.
• Excellent communication skills, both for written work documentation, emails, and verbal customer interactions

The rest we will expect to teach you as you grow into the role, but know that these are the skills that will be needed.

• A thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to relationship capital
• Interest in emerging technologies as related to customer relationship management and the sales process
• Mechanically inclined and able to provide technical solutions to customers.
• The ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot logical diagnostics procedures and basic scale troubleshooting.
• Ability to usebasic hand tools as needed
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.if required.
