About the RoleThe GTM Lead will own market development and revenue generation for a new auto insurance technology platform serving small and mid‑sized agencies and related partners. This role combines hands‑on business development, customer relationship management, and close collaboration with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and founder to shape and refine the product based on real‑world market feedback. The ideal candidate is a seasoned auto insurance professional with 10+ years of experience, a strong solopreneur profile, and is a self‑starter with a strong work ethic and a proven track record of building and closing new business in a startup or new‑venture context.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Develop and execute the go‑to‑market strategy for the auto insurance platform
- Own the full revenue lifecycle: build pipeline, close new customers
- Build senior‑level relationships with agency principals, carriers, Managing General Agents (MGA) and Third Party Administrators (TPA)
- Partner with CTO and founder to translate feedback into product requirements
- Create business cases, Return On Investment (ROI) models, and business plans for new segments
- Represent the company at select industry events
- Establish repeatable sales and account management processes
- Provide regular updates on pipeline, forecast, and key metrics
- 10+ years in auto insurance (agency, carrier, MGA, TPA) with proven new business track record
- Demonstrated success in startup or new‑product launch environment
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools (Hub Spot, Salesforce) and Insurtech/SaaS solutions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Insurance, or related field required
- Property & Casualty (P&C) license and advanced insurance designations (e.g., CPCU, CIC, ARM) preferred
