Position: Senior On Premise Market Execution Specialist

Position Summary

On-Premise Execution Senior Specialist is responsible for supporting the execution and achievement of Annual Business Plan (ABP) targets for the On-Premise Channel within the geographic area of responsibility. The area will be aligned with one or more of Constellation Brands Gold Network distributor partners. Primary focus is driving superior retail execution against on-premise sales priorities and channel strategies, managing local market execution, delivering local business plans with distributor management teams, driving distribution and availability of the beer portfolio, and ensuring brands are positioned at retail to optimize sales and market share as a leading beer supplier in the U.S. This role works closely with CBI’s local distributor management team and Gold Network distributor partners to enhance market execution and ensure delivery of business plan targets for the on-premise channel and strategic accounts.

This individual reports directly to the On-Premise Market Execution Senior Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the local market execution of on-premise strategies and initiatives across assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Collaborate with the On-Premise Market Execution Senior Manager, CBI’s On-Premise National & Key Account teams, local distributor management team, and Gold Network Distributor partners on the development and execution of on-premise business plans and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Ensure overarching on-premise strategies and key sales priorities are included in localized plans; prioritize local market opportunities, include strategic account development plans, integrate national and regional accounts at the local market level, engage distributors, support special events, and drive retail execution locally. Provide direct support and execution of these strategies and priorities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with owners, operators, and managers of local strategic national/regional/independent accounts; execute on-premise strategies and key initiatives across these accounts and support local market programs and promotions.
  • Assist in building localized on-premise development plans including sales, distribution, and promotional efforts; support the On-Premise Market Execution Senior Manager and assist Market Development Managers with annual plans for On-Premise components.
  • Identify, prioritize, and activate programming in strategic on-premise accounts (national/regional chains and local independent accounts) aligned with Constellation’s target demographics and growth initiatives; maintain up-to-date information on influencer/strategic accounts impacting market performance.
  • Report local market activity, insights, and key business updates to the On-Premise Market Execution Senior Manager and sales leadership on a regular basis.
  • Execute local market plans to increase distribution and availability of the brand in both draft and package formats across the on-premise channel.
  • Drive best-in-class retail execution across the on-premise, ensuring local plans align with overarching sales priorities and growth strategies.
  • Utilize available sales support tools, processes, and programming to drive executional excellence; partner with geographic business teams and local distributor partners to bring brand initiatives to life at the local market level; ensure national & key account programming is executed locally.
  • Execute new product/packaging rollout plans; collaborate with the broader sales team to identify target package/brand opportunities, target accounts, and resource allocation.
  • Manage the sales budgeting process for the direct area of responsibility to ensure proper allocation and deployment of resources across the on-premise execution territory.
  • Ensure support tools, market investments, brand activations, and local market investments align with key on-premise sales priorities and are properly managed.
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as required.
Minimum Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience is required (in lieu of degree, minimum of four years sales experience with a malt beverage supplier or wholesaler).
