Job PurposeThe P&C Insurance Sales Representative is responsible for selling Auto Pay Plus -affiliated auto and property insurance products to new and existing members. This role requires a 2‑20 License and strong call‑center sales experience. The Sales Representative will educate customers on coverage options, provide accurate quotes, overcome objections, and close policies while ensuring compliance with Florida insurance regulations. This role plays a key part in revenue growth, retention, and member satisfaction across Auto Pay Plus .
Representatives should thrive in a high‑volume call environment, deliver exceptional customer service, and meet or exceed individual and department sales KPIs.
- Conduct outbound and inbound calls to sell auto and property insurance products.
- Provide accurate quotes, explain coverage options, and recommend solutions based on customer needs.
- Follow Auto Pay Plus scripts, compliance standards, and call flow expectations.
- Convert warm leads generated from internal departments and New Prospects (New Enrollments, Retention, Partnerships).
- Perform conquest calls (cold leads).
- Retain existing members.
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Build rapport quickly to gather information, address objections, and confidently close the sale.
- Ensure transparent communication regarding policy terms, coverage limits, and pricing.
- Maintain high customer satisfaction scores and positive member experience.
- Maintain active 2‑20 license in good standing.
- Follow all state regulatory requirements, internal quality guidelines, and documentation protocols.
- Accurately input all member information into the CRM and carrier platforms.
- Partner with Marketing, Member Support, and New Enrollments to optimize lead flow.
- Participate in team meetings, coaching sessions, and ongoing training.
- Provide feedback to leadership to help improve scripts, processes, and product offerings.
- Achieve established KPIs including:
- Quote‑to‑close ratio
- Revenue per policy
- Call quality & compliance scores
- Lead conversion
- Cross‑selling performance
- Maintain strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and timely follow‑up.
- Active 2‑20 License (required at time of hire)
- 1–2 years of sales experience in P&C insurance, call center, or financial services.
- Strong communication skills with consultative sales ability.
- Computer proficient: CRM systems, quoting platforms, MS Office.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
- Prior experience selling auto or home insurance.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Experience in a Fin Tech, call center, or insurance agency environment.
The work is typically performed in an office setting.
