Clinical Sales Representative - Foot & Ankle - Southeast

CONMED Foot & Ankle is seeking an ambitious Clinical Sales Representative to represent our expansive product portfolio, including our newly acquired Bio Brace Implant!

As a Clinical Sales Representative, you will strategically drive the sales of CONMED’s Foot & Ankle products within a defined geographic territory. This will be accomplished by providing outstanding customer service as well as product demonstrations and presentations within the Operating Room and office settings to surgeons and hospital personnel. You will manage clinical trials involving the company's product offerings through direct interaction with healthcare facility staff and leadership.

This involves being on-site at the customer's location to provide instruction on the product attributes and functionality, answering questions, and documenting clinical feedback on the use of the product during surgical procedures. You will also act as a clinical expert for the regions for which you are assigned, answering customer and sales representative questions and inquiries related to the company's products and applications.

What You Will Do:

Coordinate with the Regional Sales Manager and appropriate Sales Representative(s) to schedule product trials at facilities within the region.

Provide expert guidance to the facility on the product's use during surgical procedures, answer questions from the staff, troubleshoot any non-performing product, and gather clinical feedback from the staff through evaluation forms.

Act as a clinical expert to the region and answer questions from the sales team to elevate their clinical knowledge.

Assist in investigating product complaints on occasion.

Perform voice of customer activities based on direction from the Sales Regional Manager.

Provide ideas and input for future company new product development and service programs.

Present product in-services to facilities for the company's products and services.

Maintain adherence to the department's budget allowance for clinical activities.

Provide clinical training to the sales team as required.

Generate new sales opportunities and maintain existing business.

Meet monthly/quarterly/annual quotas assigned by the company.

Observe procedures in the operating room of hospital accounts to gain insight into the needs of physicians and OR staff.

Respond quickly to customer needs regarding products and service and collaborate with the appropriate CONMED team to develop creative and optimal solutions.

Communicate with senior executives and key decision-makers.

What You Need:

Bachelor’s Degree required.
3+ years medical device sales experience.
Strong knowledge of orthopedics and foot and ankle surgery and anatomy preferred.

Travel Requirements:

Approximately 65% travel, regionally within the Southeast.
Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and be able to drive an automobile.

Disclosure as required by applicable law: the annual salary range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000 plus bonus. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level. The salary range is CONMED’s good faith belief at the time of this posting.
