- 1st year earning potential: $75,000+ total compensation

About the PositionThe Sales Development Representative is an entry-level position responsible for making and answering calls to loan applicants through an automated dialer to qualify and collect basic client information to determine eligibility for National Funding programs. This position is the first point of contact with potential clients and is expected to handle 200–300 calls daily. Primary responsibilities include assisting in the sales process, addressing customer inquiries, answering questions about loan applications, collecting required loan package documents, and presenting all pertinent information to the credit team to streamline the credit approval process.
WhatYou'll Be Doing
- Engage with loan applicants through high-volume outbound calling, texting, and emailing
- Establish connection with customers over the phone; build trust through responsive service and understanding of needs
- Listen attentively to customer questions and provide knowledgeable, insightful answers to encourage completion of the application package
- Obtain complete and accurate customer information; enter all information in designated database accurately
- Maintain clear records of all conversations in the designated database
- Follow communication scripts and present products in a professional and compliant manner
- Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively communicate features and benefits
- Stay updated on company products, services, and industry trends through ongoing training
- Maintain confidentiality of all customer PII and company records
- High school diploma required; undergraduate degree preferred
- Strong and confident phone presence with ability to establish rapport at first contact
- Independent, proactive mindset with a clear sense of urgency
- Excellent follow-up and organizational skills
- Ability to perform basic calculations
- High attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritize
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus; proficient in MS Office
- Professional demeanor and excellent phone etiquette; strong verbal, written, and listening skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer-focused approach
- Ability to collaborate across all levels and adapt to changing priorities
- Able to work a flexible schedule
- Working in a temperature-controlled office environment
- Sitting at a desk for long periods and viewing multiple computer monitors
- Potential lifting of boxes around 5–10 lbs
