Loan Officer - Bilingual

Lennar Mortgage is looking for a bilingual loan officer fluent in English and Spanish to work in the field, primarily in CO, FL, NC, SC, TN, and TX. The role centers on building strong relationships with home buyers, homebuilding associates, and referral sources through face‑to‑face interactions while guiding customers through the mortgage origination process.

Responsibilities
  • Business development and customer relations: strategize and execute outside‑sales activities, generate leads, conduct “First‑Time Homebuyer Seminars,” and attend builder and realtor functions.
  • Customer‑centric mortgage advisory: review financial data, recommend mortgage solutions, lock interest rates fifteen days prior to closing, and remain compliant with federal, state, and company regulations.
  • Lead management and communication: review leads daily, proactively contact prospects by phone or email, and maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Loan origination: originate and prepare new loans following all regulatory guidelines and the “Loan Officer” agreement, ensuring accurate documentation and timely submission.
  • Sales support, metrics, and reporting: assist New Home Consultants with pre‑qualifications, support pipeline development, meet or exceed loan capture rates and sales goals, and maintain detailed records in the loan origination system.
Qualifications
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (Fluent speaking and writing).
  • High‑school diploma or equivalent; a four‑year college degree preferred.
  • Minimum of three years of loan originating experience.
  • Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
  • NMLS license and specific state license, or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment.
  • Self‑starter, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in standard office software and mortgage‑industry tools.
Physical & Office / Site Presence Requirements

Regular in‑person attendance at company communities, job sites, and offices is required. The role may involve more than eight hours per day in confined spaces such as construction trailers, operating a motor vehicle, reading plans, climbing stairs and ladders, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting, and carrying equipment in excess of 50 pounds; occasional use of construction equipment is possible. Finger dexterity for computer use and calculator operation is also required.
