The Sales Representative is responsible for account management, customer care, solutions-based sales to the customers of FEIN Power Tools, Inc for the purpose of growing turnover and market share in the industry.
- Participate in the planning process to systematically establish territory goals and objectives, executing the tactical and strategic action items of the business plan according to company sales structure and procedures.
- Cultivate positive relationships, fostering long‑term partnerships by providing superior customer satisfaction.
- Consistently provide demonstrations, support, and solutions to end users, acting as the liaison to Product Management for further development in the industry.
- Habitually report daily and weekly sales activities through the CRM application to assure quality and timely follow‑up and completion.
- Drive and promote the Center of Excellence training and demonstration seminars in the territory with key dealers, distributors, and associated sales forces.
Self-Motivation is a must for maintaining productivity and managing your time well.
Presentation skills are crucial to this role. You must have the ability to deliver compelling, engaging sales presentations.
Product knowledge is a vital part of this position, which is why continuous learning is a must
. You may not start with product knowledge, but you are willing to put in the time to learn?
Integrity is a must in all FEIN business dealings. Being honest and ethical helps build long‑term customer relationships.
You must have perseverance to maintain motivation and continue pursuing leads, even after a set‑back.
Requirements- 2 years of successful sales growth and turnover in a territory.
- Travel required 50% - 60% with local and overnight stays.
- Knowledge base of power tool functions and capabilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Operating Systems.
- Experience in solution/ value-based selling.
- Experience with consumer hard goods sold through industrial channels.
- Must be a self-starter, ultimately driven to succeed with a drive to outperform competitors and excel in sales.
