What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Lead the implementation of a patient‑centric model involving physicians, clinics, and hospitals
  • Develop and maintain strategic long‑term relationships with Centers of Excellence (COEs) and key health systems
  • Provide education and support to healthcare providers regarding rare disease management and available resources
  • Execute strategic business and account plans while mastering targeted disease states
  • Foster relationships with patient advocacy groups to enhance community awareness and education
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • BS/BA degree AND 8+ years of sales experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, including 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven track record of sales success with quantifiable accomplishments in specialty pharmaceutical or biotech markets
  • Experience with business systems and salesforce automation platforms such as  or Oracle database
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required for frequent travel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Master's degree preferred AND 6+ years of relevant sales experience, or PhD AND 4+ years of experience
  • Experience in rare diseases and calling on Key Accounts and academic institutions
  • Prior experience in start‑up or market development roles
  • Familiarity with endocrine products and specialty pharmacy distribution models
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex and challenging accounts effectively
