The Salesman is responsible for driving profitable revenue growth for RigUpATL by developing new business, maintaining strong client relationships, and owning projects from initial opportunity through final close‑out. This role blends sales, estimating, and project ownership, ensuring work is sold correctly and executed profitably.
Job Responsibilities Business Development & Client Relationships- Generate new business through prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
- Maintain and grow existing client accounts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact from first call through project completion.
- Develop accurate estimates, pricing, and proposals.
- Negotiate terms and secure contracts that meet company margin and risk standards.
- Plan and coordinate projects from kickoff to closeout.
- Align scope, schedule, staffing, and equipment to ensure successful execution.
- Manage job costs, change orders, billing, and collections.
- Drive projects to meet or exceed gross margin and cash flow targets.
- Communicate clearly with customers, operations, field leadership, and vendors.
- Proactively resolve issues and ensure commitments are delivered on time and on budget.
- 5–10+ years of experience in the rigging, craining or heavy haul industry.
- Proven ability to generate new business and manage long‑term client relationships in a service‑driven environment.
- Strong estimating and pricing capability, with experience negotiating contracts and protecting margin.
- Demonstrated track record of managing projects through execution while maintaining profitability and cash flow.
- Highly accountable, self‑directed, and comfortable operating with both sales and operational responsibility.
