Role Overview

As an Account Executive, you will sell new business, manage and grow your client portfolio, and oversee the full sales cycle from prospecting to renewal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial real estate industry.
  • Effectively manage and expand your portfolio of clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and growth.
  • Develop deep expertise in CoStar’s products and the commercial real estate market.
  • Lead the end‑to‑end sales process, including prospecting, product demonstrations, closing, onboarding, training, and renewals.
  • Conduct in‑person meetings and deliver product demos to brokers, owners, corporations, investors, and other professionals.
  • Represent CoStar at industry events and cultivate long‑term relationships and a professional network.
Basic Qualifications
  • 3+ years of successful B2B outside sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
  • Track record of exceeding sales targets and a commitment to prior employers.
  • Current, valid driver’s license and satisfactory completion of a driving record check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of outside sales experience in a B2B environment selling data, research, and analytic platforms or tools.
  • Strong consultative selling skills and ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Demonstrated success in managing client portfolios and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Results‑driven mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction and market knowledge.
