Key Holder (Shift Lead)

A Part‑Time Key Holder (Shift Lead) is a brand champion who is passionate about providing a wonderful overall in‑store experience. The ideal Key Holder exudes strong leadership traits and aims to build a career in retail management.

  • Deliver outstanding customer experience, as well as a similar environment for the in‑house team
  • Provide training and/or help Store Associates to always ensure that production goals are met, including product‑finishing projects
  • Lead various in‑store tasks during each shift, exemplifying the store and brand standards
  • Ensure the movement on the sales floor is flowing effectively
  • Help ensure product merchandising is done accurately
  • Lead the follow‑through of all food safety protocols
  • Target sales objectives and help achieve store compliance and loss prevention standards
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss goals, progress and topics in need of improvement
  • Participate in other role‑related duties as assigned by the Store Manager
What We Expect From You
  • At least 1 year of experience in retail sales or a similar fast‑paced, customer‑minded environment, with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
  • Reliability and flexibility with scheduling based on store needs
  • Quality‑mindfulness with keen attention to detail
  • Passion for chocolate
Physical Requirements
  • Depending on the length of the shift, employees may need physical stamina to remain active and stand for long hours, often walking or standing in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to move quickly between tasks, assist multiple customers at once, or handle unexpected changes.
  • Multitasking requires physical agility and the ability to stay organized.
  • Ability to bend, squat, or reach up high to organize or stock products.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the store, which can involve bending down to clean floors or wiping down displays.
  • Restocking low shelves or accessing high displays may involve frequent bending or stretching.
  • Ability to lift 15‑40 pounds.
