Cashier Supervisor – ABM Industries

Job Summary: The Lead Cashier is accountable for cash and electronic transactions.

• Oversee all cashiers to ensure work is completed appropriately.
• Accept accountability for cash transactions.
• Assure all transactions are accounted for correctly.
• Train new associates on Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Count down cash drawer with previous shift lead present to ensure accurate counts and reporting.
• Check in with cashiers no less than once an hour for drops and change needs.
• Provide customer service and information to patrons, and prep for next shift, including money audits, supply checks, and verifying needed paperwork.
• Ensure quality service, customer satisfaction, clean facility areas, and a safe work environment.

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required.
• No experience required; on‑job training is provided.

• One (1) year of prior customer service or similar experience preferred.
