Assistant Manager – Domino’s Pizza
You were born to be the boss. You get up in the morning and make sure everyone in the house is doing what they need. Now you’ll make sure everyone in our store is doing the same—and that even your boss is. It’s a tough job that requires judgment, math skills, and the ability to multitask. This role is ideal for someone who naturally takes charge and enjoys leading a team.
Job Responsibilities- Full responsibility for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
- Set the example and enforce all policies and procedures 100% of the time, expecting the same from the crew.
- Staff scheduling, paperwork, and cost control execution.
- Maintain food management, a perfect store image, and adherence to all standards.
- Deliver great customer service, ensure attendance and punctuality, and maintain store cleanliness.
- Handle marketing activities and drive profitability.
- Provide training and orientation to new staff members.
- Manage transportation to/from work and game‑plan logistics.
- Oversee overall store performance, meet sales goals, and implement improvement plans.
- Stand, walk, lift, push, pull, and climb as required – including lifting up to 50 lb in bulk deliveries and carrying food items that weigh up to 30 lb.
- Work in varying temperatures, from 36 °F in the cooler to 90 °F+ in other areas.
- Work under adverse weather conditions, in cramped quarters, near fumes, and sharp equipment.
- Handle repetitive tasks such as bending, reaching, and manipulating pizza dough and trays.
- Drive deliveries within a designated area, navigate traffic, and cross houses safely.
- Strong math abilities: add, subtract, multiply, divide, use a calculator, and give correct monetary change.
- Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication skills to take orders and interact with customers.
- Motor coordination for precise movements, handling pizza equipment, and operating the computer or touch screen for orders.
- Ability to read maps, navigate multimillion‑story addresses, and use a GPS for deliveries.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to manage workloads, meet quality standards, and make decisions under stress.
