Liquor Cashier

Liquor Cashier – Walmart, Orlando, FL

$16.00/hr – $23.00/hr

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintain safety of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures and guidelines, including conducting safety sweeps, following proper forklift spotting procedures, adhering to company steel‑standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
• Provide member service: acknowledge members, identify their needs, assist with purchasing decisions, locate merchandise, resolve issues and concerns, and promote the Company’s products and services.
• Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking merchandise, setting up displays, cleaning, and organizing product displays, removing damaged goods, signing and pricing merchandise, and securing fragile and high‑shrink items.
• Maintain the Liquor sales floor in accordance with Company policies by properly handling claims, returns, zoning the area, arranging merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.
• Operate hardware such as cash registers, process member purchases, and assist with payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges using appropriate procedures for different membership and payment types.
• Maintain cash registers and lanes, reduce shrink by stocking register supplies and box bins, follow Company policies for identifying concealed merchandise, and meet front‑end performance goals.
• Follow Company and legal policies for Liquor sales: secure merchandise, maintain signage, verify Member identification, and complete required paperwork and documentation.

• Hourly wage range: $16.00–$23.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may range from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
