The Receiver will ensure all deliveries are accurately labeled, stocked and accessible for the Food & Beverage Team. The successful candidate will have a passion for organization and a high attention to detail. Successful communication between vendors and the team will be a key aspect to ensuring all guests have an amazing experience.

- Provide amazing hospitality to coworkers and guests as prescribed in our RESPECT Service System.
- Receive all Food and Beverage items, including but not limited to dry goods & sundries, perishable food items, linens, liquor/beer/wine/non-alcoholic beverages, smallwares, glassware; ensuring that the products received match the corresponding invoice and reporting any discrepancies and/or damages.
- Ensure the proper handling and administration of invoices and documents.
- Receive, store, and organize food and supplies using proper food handling techniques including stock rotation for products that are sensitive to date codes and monitoring temperatures of perishable products.
- Ensure best practice of First In First Out when receiving products and preparing deliveries.
- Update inventory records and participate in inventory audits.
- Assist Front of House crew if required.
- Assist Back of House crew if required.
- Assist in cleaning and organizing of hospitality vessel holds and land-based storage areas.
- Assist with food deliveries to all vessels, as needed.
- Be prepared to begin work at scheduled time.
- Maintain uniform and personal grooming in compliance with appearance standards.
- Completes other duties as assigned by the Manager on duty.
- O.S.S.D. or equivalent as recognized by the Ministry of Education.
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience.
- Previous receiving experience preferred.
- Smart Serve Certificate required.
- Food Handler’s Certificate required.
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality essential.
- Ability to deal with shifting priorities.
- Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to effectively understand and convey written and verbal information to guests and coworkers.
- Must possess a service orientation – actively looking for ways to help others.
- Will work for extended periods of time without sitting.
- Required to lift furniture and other heavy items up and down stairs.
- Will be required to be available for work on all weekends and major holidays.
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, wipe, push, pull, move or lift up to 60 lbs (27 kgs).
