Overview
POSITION: BARISTA (Service Specialist)
REPORTS TO: UNIT MANAGER
Starting Rate: $13.00 per hour plus tips
Responsible to provide food, beverages and service to Guests at a level of quality that ensures their satisfaction and their desire to return.
Responsibilities- Solid product knowledge
- Barista Certification
- Able to resolve complaints and problems as they arise from customers and employees
- Take Barista test every 6 months
- Must be able and willing to mix, sell and serve approved alcoholic beverages to guests aged 21 and older upon request and verification of age requirement
- Above average communication skills.
- Leadership
- High sensitivity and ability to respond to Guest needs.
- Able to follow directions.
- High enthusiasm and desire to succeed.
- Creativity and high knowledge of drinks recipes and preparation
- Sincere desire for quality.
- Creativity and effective problem-solving skills.
- High level of comfort in “team” settings.
Physical Requirements
- Lifting – up to 50 pounds, Bending, Climbing, Pushing/pulling equipment
- Ability to process information and merchandise through computer system and POS register system.
- Ability to communicate with associates and guests.
- Ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation
- Ability to freely access all areas of the kiosks and theme parks including selling areas, stock area, and register area.
- Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the kiosks.
- Ability to climb ladders.
- Ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store generally weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work varied hours/days to oversee kiosk operations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Be able to stand weather elements and temperatures
- Be in compliance with the Disney look.
