IntroductionOur client is a hospital seeking an experienced Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Orlando, Florida. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a well‑established small animal practice that has served the community since 1979, caring for dogs and cats with a broad range of veterinary services, including advanced surgical procedures.
Working Hours / RotaThis role welcomes both full‑time and part‑time applicants. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Role Description and ResponsibilitiesThe Associate Veterinarian will provide all services typically associated with a general practice role. Clinical responsibilities include wellness care, internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, and other routine and preventative services. The hospital also offers orthopedic surgery, providing additional opportunities for veterinarians interested in surgical cases. This position is open to experienced veterinarians only.
Practice DetailsThe hospital has been AAHA accredited since 1983 and provides a full range of general practice services, with the added benefit of offering orthopedic procedures. The 10,000 sq. ft. facility features eight exam rooms, a spacious treatment area, dual operating suites, a high‑quality dental suite with dental radiography, digital X‑rays, ultrasound, and state‑of‑the‑art Idexx in‑house lab equipment. Additionally, the hospital includes a luxury boarding facility and grooming salon, supporting both medical and non‑medical client needs.
TeamThe hospital operates with a multi‑doctor team supported by an experienced and tenured group of technicians and staff. A 2:1 technician‑to‑doctor ratio ensures that doctors can focus on practicing high‑quality medicine while receiving strong support from a collaborative and mentoring‑focused environment.
Candidate Requirements- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
Salary from $165,000 (Annual)
- Base salary starting at $165 k + production
- Up to $100 k signing bonus
- As few as 3 shifts per week – no on‑call responsibilities
- 3 weeks of paid time off Generous, annual CE allowances – with additional paid time off
- Complimentary 3rd‑party relocation services (up to $50 k)
