Job Description:

Up to $15,000 Sign-on Bonus and Up to $3,000 Relocation Assistance

Unit Highlights and the community you'll be caring for:

* The Advent Health Sand Lake Emergency Room (ER) is a 13,700-square-foot facility featuring state-of-the-art emergency healthcare serving the residents of Orange County, and is an extension of our Advent Health Winter Park location.

* The 12-bed ER includes an urgent care track to diagnose and treat non-emergent cases more efficiently and offers emergent care with a helicopter pad onsite.

* The Advent Health Sand Lake ER will be staffed by board-certified emergency physicians, critical care nurses, both stroke and chest-pain experts.

* The proximity to emergency care makes Advent Health Sand Lake ER one of the closest health care facilities to the new Epic Universe theme park.

Schedule:

Full-time, 36 hours per week

Shift: Nights, 7:00 pm - 7:00 am (weekend rotation required)

Job Responsibilities:

* Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.

* Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.

* Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.

* Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.

* Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.

Additional Certifications

Required:

* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

* Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
