Shifts Available: We have PRN shifts available within our Home Care division providing flexibility to accommodate your schedule.
Compensation: For this position, the expected hourly rate is $37.00 per hour.
In this role, you will:
- RNs can expect to be working in our Westminster facilities with their own individual full caseloads providing floor coverage.
- Assist in planning resident care by following physician orders.
- Implement resident care based on physician orders.
- Evaluate care and communicate with doctors for updates of orders.
- Administer medication, IVs, give shots, update patient records, provide emotional support, patient education, basic diagnostics, and other patient procedures for residents.
- Receive and transcribe orders from attending physicians.
- Monitor blood glucose, temperature, and blood pressure when necessary.
- Respond to all emergencies.
- Schedule doctor’s appointments and coordinate transportation for the residents. Includes scheduling labs and transcribing lab results.
Qualifications you possess:
- Current Florida Registered Nurse license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- One year of long-term care desirable
