Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) travel assignment requiring 2 years of PICU experience and valid FL or compact RN licensure.
Responsibilities- Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) within a children's hospital setting
- Shifts are 12 hours, with a typical schedule of day shift
- Assignment length is 13 weeks with 36 hours per week
- Required to work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Floating required within the children's hospital only
- No on-call responsibilities
- Navy blue scrubs are required
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team caring for critically ill pediatric patients
- Assignment is limited to the children's hospital units only
- Returning employees must have a break of at least one year before taking another travel assignment here
- Active FL or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years of PICU nursing experience
- Current PALS (AHA) certification required
- Current BLS (AHA) certification required
- CRRT competency preferred but not required
- Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility for travel eligibility
- Must not have worked at the facility within the past year
