Variable Full‑Time with rotating weekends (Three 12‑hour shifts).
Shift: Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM).

- The Progressive Care Unit gen Phillips Hospital is a 48‑bed unit.
- This unit provides specialized care for patients who are too stable for the intensive care unit but require more monitoring and medical attention than can be provided in a PCU floor. Types of patients treated in this unit are post‑surgical patients, respiratory patients (COPD, pneumonia, non‑invasive ventilation), sepsis/infections, chronic illness exacerbations (diabetes, kidney failure) and more.
- PCUs bridge the gap between ICU and standard care units by providing(True telemetry, continuous monitoring, and specialized nursing for patients who are improving but still at risk for complications. This allows flatten transition in care while ensuring patient safety and recovery.

- Manages staffing assignments for oncoming and outgoing shifts based on patient acuity and skill level of team members to meet patient care needs.
- Coordinates patient flow by working directly with the Administrative Supervisors, Care Coordinators, and Dis commissioning for expected outcomes.
- Monitors overall status of patients within area of responsibility and closely monitors status of seriously ill patients.
