Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement service programs by assessing patient needs, setting goals, and outlining interventions to ensure quality nursing and patient care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' physical, mental, and emotional health, including medical history, physical exams, and interviews with patients and families.
  • Develop individualized care plans by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, performing medical procedures as prescribed.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes to adjust care plans and improve service programs based on data and feedback.
  • Educate and train nursing staff on new service programs, protocols, and best practices to maintain high standards of care.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure clear understanding and coordination of care plans.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies by adhering to established policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Engage in continuous quality improvement activities by identifying areas for improvement, implementing changes, and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in electronic medical records, ensuring timely and precise entries.
  • Adhere to professional standards by following established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, while engaging in ongoing professional development.
  • Supervise and guide nursing personnel in delivering safe, therapeutic, and quality patient care, maintaining a professional rapport with all team members.
Qualifications
  • Associate's of Nursing (Required)
  • Bachelor's of Nursing (Required)
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
  • Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
  • Registered Nurse (RN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
