Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Florida provides services to children and adolescents with significant emotional and behavioral health needs who live on-site while in treatment. Located in Pine Hills, FL, this position is responsible for ensuring client care by providing medications, ensuring regular medical checkups, and keeping medical file updated, providing an open line of communication with clients' family and medical staff (doctors, therapists, other nurses), and supporting a therapeutic environment, while ensuring the safety and well-being of the individuals we serve.

• Salary:
  Starts at $32.00 - $37.30 / hr (rate is based on education and relevant experience)
  
  Schedule:
  
  part time;
  Friday 3:00 to 11:00 pm, Sunday 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing – Associate's Degree or Diploma required (Bachelor of Science in Nursing strongly preferred)
• Board certification – Registered Nurse in the State of Florida required
• 2 years of nursing experience or previous experience working with the DJJ, IDD, or psychiatric population in a group home or residential facility (preferred)
• Valid Florida driver's license
• Successfully pass pre‑employment medical screenings (Drug Test, Physical, TB Test)
• Must be able to take and pass Safe and Positive Approaches (SPA) training, including initial training during orientation and subsequent re‑certifications

• Must complete a two‑week new hire orientation class (Monday – Friday); hours approximately 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day

• Ability to work the specified part‑time schedule and complete orientation
• Cultural competency with diverse populations
